THE search continues for a thug who robbed a man at knifepoint near the centre of Cottingham.
The victim was walking alone by the side of the Beck in a snicket between Station Yard and Hallgate.
Another man cycled past him on a metallic-coloured bicycle.
He got off his bike further down the path and then walked back towards the victim.
The man then threatened the victim with a small knife.
The victim handed over his wallet, which contained a small amount of cash and two Halifax bank cards.
The victim was not injured.
The robber is white, aged between 18 and 35, between 6ft 1in and 6ft 2in and of stocky build.
He spoke with a local accent and was wearing a dark hooded top and a scarf that partly hid his face.
The attack happened on Wednesday, December 5, between 11.40am and 12.20pm.
