EAST YORKS: The volunteer crew at Humber Rescue are celebrating their first donation of their newly launched Sponsor a Crew Member campaign.

The aim is for business and commerce in the area to sponsor a crew member, paying for the replacement of protective equipment worn by the crew – which costs £2,000 per member.

RLM Packaging has sponsored Dave Roberts, pictured, Humber Rescue's chairman, trustee and coxswain.

"We sincerely hope that through this scheme we will be able to replace most of the older equipment and also possibly release some for training purposes," he said.
