A MAN was stabbed in the back in an east Hull street. The 40-year-old man was taken to hospital after he was wounded in Jalland Street last night.
He remains in Hull Royal Infirmary with non life-threatening injuries. A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing and is currently in custody.
Police cordoned off an area of the street and an alleyway running between Jalland Street and Durham Street for several hours after the attack at 6.50pm. Any witnesses are asked to call Humberside Police on 101.Updated 10am. More details will follow as they become available.
