Royal Mail said it has beaten its targets for delivering mail to HU postcodes on time.
It said 95.8 per cent of First Class mail was delivered to customers the day after it was posted.
Second Class mail delivery was also above target, with 99 per cent arriving with three days of posting.
Doug Neal, delivery director for Royal Mail, said: "It is excellent news that we have exceeded our targets for First Class and Second Class letters and parcels.
"We are committed to maintaining our high standards of service for all of our customers – consumers and businesses in rural areas as well as towns and cities across the Hull HU postcode area."
