A CAR crashed into a tree in Willerby Road this morning.
Emergency services were called to the crash, next to the Hanson Electrical shop, at 10.09am.
The silver Nissan Micra hit a tree between two lanes of dual carriageway traffic.
A woman in her 70s was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary by ambulance.
Police do not believe any crime was commited and the woman's injuries are not through to be serious.
Part of the road was briefly closed this morning but traffic is now flowing normally.
