HULL FC coach Peter Gentle says he will give winger Tom Lineham every chance to be fit for the Challenge Cup final. The 21-year-old was sent for scans this week on an ankle injury that saw him limp out of Sunday's derby win at Hull KR. Gentle says those scans have not ruled Lineham out yet, with the length of his absence still to be determined. And while he will play no part against Salford on Friday night, Lineham will be given every opportunity to prove his fitness for the Wembley final a week on Saturday. "We still don't know the full extent of Tom's injury and we haven't completely ruled him out yet," said Gentle. "He will get an opportunity to prove his fitness one way or another next week and we will wait and see where that takes us. "It is an outside chance, but while it is an outside chance we will give him as long as it takes." Lineham will be joined by Mark O'Meley in the stands this week with the prop missing out with a leg strain. Andy Lynch returns from a week off with a minor strain, while Josh Bowden is also recalled to the squad.Squad: Arundel, Bowden, Briscoe, Crookes, Ellis, Green, Heremaia, Holdsworth, Houghton, Johnson, Lynch, Miller, Pitts, Shaul, Tickle, Watts, Westerman, Whiting, Yeaman
