Police are hunting two men who tried to break into a safe at Coral bookmakers in Anlaby Road, west Hull.

The men, who had covered their faces with hoods and scarves, forced their way into the betting shop - but were unable to get into the safe and left empty-handed.

Detective Constable Justin Marrow, of the city's priority crime team, said: "They have disabled the burglar alarm in some way and the forced their way into the building through a rear door.

"Once inside, they made an unsuccessful attempt to take the safe and left the building the same way they came in."

Pictures and video of the suspects have been released today as part of our latest Caught on Camera feature.
