A MAN from Patrington was taken to hospital in a serious condition after the car he was driving hit a tree.
The driver, 29, was involved in a collision opposite the Whitehall Ranch on the A1033 between Ottringham and Winestead.
No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the crash which happened at about 8.40pm on Friday.
The man was driving a black Ford Fiesta and was travelling towards Patrington when the car left the road to the nearside and collided with a tree.
The driver suffered serious injuries and had to be cut from the wreckage before being flown to Hull Royal Infirmary by air ambulance.
His condition is described as stable.
