A two-year old girl is fighting for her life after a road crash in Holderness.
The toddler suffered life-threatening head injuries in a two-car accident at the junction of the B1239 and B1240, near Preston.
She was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary and later transferred to Leeds General Infirmary, where she has been detained for treatment. Her condition is described as critically ill.
The girl was a back-seat passenger in a red Vauxhall Corsa, when it crashed with a silver-coloured Mazda MX5 at 11.15am on Sunday.
A 72-year-old man, driving the Mazda, and a 26-year-old woman, driving the Corsa, suffered minor injuries.
Police are asking witnesses to call 101, referring to log 316 of July 14.Updated 8am. More to follow.
