Hull's Humber Street Sesh festival has seen an injection of funding after an urgent appeal.
Local businesses have come forward to stump up cash, after organisers were concerned about hitting their target.
The event, on Saturday, August 3, will definitely go ahead, although there's still a lot of work to be done.
Promoter Mark Page said: "After the appeal went in the Mail we had tons of e-mails, phone calls and message on our Facebook page.
"Even people offering £10 and £20, every little helps for the festival.
"We have had more businesses come forward which we are really grateful fore.
"There is still a pop-up cinema, comedy area and skatepark needing sponsorship.
"It's all coming together and we are looking forward to the big day."
The festival last year attracted more than 15,000 people and it aims to "assist in the regeneration and development of the urban cultural quarter based around Humber Street and its surrounding area."
More than 500 people will be involved in utilising existing buildings throughout the Humber Dock area.
