A CITY street has re-opened after a 'sinkhole' caused part of the road to collapse.
Hawthorn Avenue was shut between Hessle Road and Carlton Street yesterday (Thursday) and re-opened at 8.45pm this morning.
Hull City Council have confirmed the road was repaired overnight.
