CRAIG Sandercock says his Hull KR side now have the belief they can win on their travels.
With five of their remaining eight games coming away from the comforts of MS3 Craven Park, Sandercock has hailed last weekend's victory in France as important for the confidence of his side.
It was only their third away win of the campaign.
Heading to St Helens this evening, the Robins' coach says his players know they can now win the close contests on the road.
"It was good to get a good win away as our last one was a while ago," Sandercock told the Mail.
"It gives the boys a bit of belief that if we are in a tight game away from home we are able to come through it."
With trips to Warrington, Leeds and Wigan yet to come, Rovers face a tough run-in as they bid to secure a play-off berth.
Four victories from their last five games has elevated the Robins to seventh.
But with eighth-placed St Helens able to leapfrog his side with a victory this evening, Sandercock knows the importance of picking up another potentially crucial two points on their travels.
Saints have started to turn their season around after a poor start and buoyed by the return of several senior players, Sandercock says he's under no illusions of how difficult a prospect this evening's game will be.
"St Helens are virtually back at full strength now with the likes of James Roby, Johnny Lomax and Willie Manu back, the list goes on," added Sandercock.
"We are under no illusions as to how tough it's going to be but, at the same time, we are going pretty well at the minute and if we play to our potential we will be competitive."
