An explosion rocked the quiet market town of Hedon in the early hours of this morning.
Police and fire crews rushed to the car park at Market Hill just before 2am this morning after reports of the explosion. No-one was injured in the blast.
An incendiary device was discovered after an accompanying fire was put out and police are now investigating.
Cars have been stopped from coming into the area although pedestrians are still able to walk past.
