HULL: Children are being invited to join in a free six-week course to create a storybook inspired by author Jacqueline Wilson.
The sessions, run by Hull City Council's Family Learning, encourage parents and pre-school children to work together to build their own story book.
They take place in the Museums Quarter, Central Library and Ferens Art Gallery from this Tuesday until Tuesday, June 25.
Gary Parkinson, assistant head of service for 14 to 19s and skills, said: "This is a great opportunity for families to spend time together in some of our fantastic facilities to create something they can take home to enjoy.
"Having the Jacqueline Wilson Daydreams And Diaries exhibition here in Hull has allowed us to develop this course and I hope it proves popular with our residents."
Free childcare is available for babies and toddlers.
