FOUR people have been taken to Hull Royal Infirmary following a crash on the A63.
Emergency crews, including four ambulances and a rapid response vehicle, were sent to the scene, under the Humber Bridge, at 12.15pm today.
According to police, the crash involved a silver Peugeot 206 and a blue Renault lorry.
It is believed the injured included the car driver and three passengers.
A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "Two adults and two children, complaining of neck and back pain, have been taken to Hull Royal Infirmary in separate ambulances."
The conditions of the patients are not known, although no-one is believed to have been seriously injured.
Police and Highways Agency officials closed the westbound carriageway, which caused heavy congestion.
However, the road has now reopened and traffic is reported to be flowing freely.
