HULL City is looking to host a promotion party for 30,000 fans at the KC Stadium.
UPDATE: An announcement unveiling plans for the promotion celebration has been made today. It will be held on Wednesday evening. Click here for more details and further updates.
Hull City vice chairman Ehab Allam said: "The stadium is the home of the club and we can get about 30,000 people in there with the stands and with people also on the pitch."
Officials were today holding talks with the council, police and the East Riding FA in a bid to stage a lap of honour ahead of tonight's cup final at the KC Stadium between North Ferriby and Reckitts.
We will keep fans informed of the developments involving the promotion party on our new website hulldailymail.co.uk and Twitter feed @hulldailymail once the club has confirmed details.
Hull City's managing director Nick Thompson said: "We will consider all the options on Tuesday morning.
"Tuesday night is the ideal time because the East Riding FA Cup final is taking place at the KC Stadium but there may be a technicality that wouldn't allow us to do something then.
"We would then look at the possibility of Wednesday."
