North Ferriby United made it an East Yorkshire promotion double this evening by winning a place in the Conference North.
United beat Ashton 2-0 to win the Evostik Premier League title - just hours after Hull City won promotion to the Premier League.
Billy Heath's team needed a win to guarantee a place in the Conference for the first time in their history.
They pipped rivals Hednesford - who won at Fylde - on goal difference.
Ferriby will now play just two divisions below the Football League.
