Hordes of wannabe rock and roll stars swung by the seafront yesterday as Bridlington's annual Elvis Weekender got underway.
It sees impersonators compete to be named The King of Kings, with the winner bagging $20,000
Two heats were held yesterday at The Spa, followed by a performance from The Nashville Sessions.
Semi-finals will be held today before a brand new show backed by top European Elvis backing band Red Alert.
The grand final will be held tomorrow at 7.30pm, as the last Elvises face off live on stage.
There will also be a Sunday gospel service at 11am, an Elvis in the Movies show at 12noon tomorrow and the day will culminate with an 11pm awards ceremony.
The show is one of the world's biggest Elvis gatherings, drawing performers from Germany, Spain, Malta, Italy and even the US.
