AHMED Elmohamady has vowed to repay the support of Hull City fans by providing a final day never to be forgotten in the Championship promotion race.
Elmohamady was last night named the Official Supporters Club Player of the Year at the KC Stadium to complete a clean-sweep in the club's end of season honours.
The wing-back has enjoyed a fine season on loan from Sunderland, but he is still desperate to inspire a fitting finale with automatic promotion at stake on Saturday.
A win at home to Cardiff will finally fend off the challenge of third-placed Watford and Elmohamady said: "This is a huge moment for me. It has been fantastic this year, the players, the staff, the manager and the fans.
"Hopefully, we will all be happy on Saturday when we are promoted."
Nine days after scooping the club's Player of the Season, Elmohamady was crowned the supporters' choice last night, beating Paul McShane in second and Robbie Brady in third.
George Boyd won Goal of the Season for his sublime strike against Huddersfield last month on a night all prizes were handed over by three-time promotion-winning captain Ian Ashbee.
Manager Steve Bruce was also present on stage and said: "We disappointed a lot of people on Saturday (losing 2-0 to Barnsley) but let's all hope we can show what we're made of now."
