WITNESSES are being asked to come forward after a woman was killed by a lorry in west Hull at the weekend.
The 64-year-old Hull woman was pushing a 21-month-old boy in a pushchair along Hessle Road at 12.45pm on Saturday when she was hit by the white Mercedes vehicle.
Both were taken to Hull Royal Infirmary, where the woman died. The child was treated for minor cuts and grazes.
The lorry had been traveling from the direction of Rawling Way towards Hawthorn Avenue at the time of the accident.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened. Anyone with information is asked to call PC Lamswood, at the Roads Policing Unit, on 101, quoting log 347 of April 27.
