Police have arrested a 24 year-old man in relation to a hoax firearms incident on Beverley Road, Hull last Thursday (April 18.
Police received a call shortly before 8.30pm last Thursday, stating that threats were being made to a woman in a communal area of an address in St Leonards Road.
Armed officers, the force helicopter, dog handlers and uniformed officers were deployed to the scene, where roads in the area were cordoned off as a precautionary measure.
Patrols left the scene at 10.45pm when it became clear that the alleged victim was unaware of the incident and there was no risk to the public due to the call being a hoax.
The Hull man has been bailed pending further enquiries.
