HULL KR coach Craig Sandercock believes Travis Burns' communication can be the key to beating St Helens in the Challenge Cup on Saturday.
Burns has missed the last three matches with a shoulder injury and through suspension, but is now fit and free to return.
And Sandercock says his leadership could prove the difference against Saints.
"Travis can talk under water and is someone the younger players in our team like Omari Caro, Alex Brown and Liam Salter can listen to when developing that in their own games.
"It's really important for us to have Travis in our team for his talking. It's also good to have my number one half-backs available.
"We need to get them playing together week- in, week-out.
"Travis is the only player that will be back available and at this stage everyone that played last Sunday will be available."
Sandercock admits having Burns back in the mix is a big boost to the right hand side, as the inexperienced Salter, Brown and Caro have featured for much of the season so far.
"The younger players are learning all the time," Sandercock added.
"A lot of our loyal supporters understand that you can't make inexperienced players seasoned Super League players.
"Unfortunately, they have made some errors and they have conceded some tries that a regular Super League player wouldn't.
"But it's money in the bank for them so to speak and in the long run this club will be a lot better for that.
"They have steadied the ship and they are trying hard.
"They want to learn as they know there are deficiencies in their game and they are working hard to improve them."
Sandercock will still be without a number of first-choice regulars this weekend and he is still looking at strengthening in the loan market.
"I think about the loan market every day as we are definitely short of a back rower or centre.
"But it has to be someone I think can add to our team," he said.
