HUDDERSFIELD Giants back rower Dale Ferguson hasn't ruled out making a return to the Robins after spending a month on loan earlier in the season.
Ferguson played four games for KR as cover for injured players and proved to be one of the more consistent players in Craig Sandercock's side.
And ahead of Sunday's clash with some familiar faces, he said it is a club he would have no hesitation in rejoining if things don't work out at the Giants.
"If I wasn't playing at Huddersfield then I would welcome a return to KR," Ferguson told the Mail.
"I really enjoyed my time at Rovers. The loan move came about because I was down the pecking order at Huddersfield.
"I jumped at the chance to play regularly for Rovers in Super League. I wanted game time and Craig Sandercock gave me that."
Ferguson helped Rovers to two wins in his four appearances, including the 26-12 victory over Warrington at MS3 Craven Park.
Since then, Ferguson has featured in every game for the Giants, who are currently riding high in the table.
Ferguson is grateful to Sandercock for breathing life into his season, and says he left Rovers as a better player than when he arrived.
"I believe I did go back a better player. It was a great opportunity for me and I'm grateful for it," he said.
"I knew a few of the players from their time at Huddersfield, like Keal Carlile and Adam Walker, which made the loan move a lot easier.
"Rovers is very much like it is at Huddersfield. Both are very close knit clubs."
Ferguson claims he won't be divulging much information on how Rovers work, but given it's the Giants who pay his wages, few will believe him.
And he says he is looking forward to facing the club that he is so grateful to.
"I don't think I'll need to share my views on how Rovers play as that is up to the coaches," he said.
"We are going well at the moment, but Rovers have a big pack and we have to make sure we don't let them get over the top of us.
"If they do, Rovers have two very good play-makers in Michael Dobson and Craig Hall to pull the strings for them. It will be a tough, but I just want to win."
