Waiting for traffic lights to change can test the patience of most drivers. For some, the red light lingers forever.
But for one motorist, the wait proved just a little too long for his own good.
According to a new city council report, the unidentified man was arrested after falling asleep at the wheel while stuck in a queue at a city centre junction.
It adds: "He had collapsed in a drunken state whilst waiting for the traffic lights to change."
