Revised plans for a new Hull city centre hotel and conference centre complex will go before planning councillors tomorrow.
The proposed scheme by developer Trinity Quays LLP has been scaled back from an original 22-storey design to an 18-storey building earmarked for a currently derelict site in High Street close to Myton Bridge.
The company say the redesign reflects "a more financially viable building" rather the previous larger tower block which was granted planning approval last summer.
The current scheme features 232 hotel bedrooms and an 800-seat conference centre.
Council planning officers are again recommending approval with a condition that building work starts before July 2015.
