HE IS the answer to any sweet-toothed insomniac's prayers – a man who delivers treats right to your door, whatever the hour.
Self-proclaimed "chocoholic" Jake Fieldhouse, 21, set up his company Sweet Tooth just three weeks ago, delivering chocolate, cakes, muffins, fizzy drinks and bags of sweets direct to customers' doorsteps.
And he's already been staggered by its success, as word spreads of the new business.
Jake, of Kimmeridge Close in Bransholme, said: "It's such an exciting time for me at the moment.
"The first few weeks have been fantastic and things can only get better as the word spreads.
"Most of the confectionery on offer is American and is quite difficult to get over here, even during the day.
"Everyone seems to love it."
The young entrepreneur said he was pleased the company was up and running in time for Easter.
He said: "I'm hoping the time of year will encourage people in Hull to get into the chocolate spirit.
"Our confectionery is delivered until midnight most days and 2.30am on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays – it could be the perfect midnight gift for someone."
Jake, a former IT student at Hull Training Business Academy, has been running the company from Bransholme since its launch earlier this month.
He said: "I'd been wanting to start up the company for a while but was struggling to work out how to go about it.
"I knew it was a great idea, but I think it's hard for people of my age to set up a business themselves, even though we're just as entitled to as other people.
"It got to the point where I knew I'd regret it if I didn't make a move."
Jake worked in fast food restaurants, call centres and a factory after leaving college in 2006.
He said: "The years after college were a no man's land for me.
"I had no idea what I wanted to do and took on a lot of boring jobs just to earn money.
"But I always knew I ultimately wanted to work for myself."
Jake set up the business with the support of his mother Hazel, who lives opposite him and sometimes helps out with deliveries.
Jake said: "She's really proud of what I've achieved and so are my friends.
"They're used to my endless business ideas, but they seem to be really impressed this time.
"And I am passionate about making the company the best it can be."
Jake, who lives with his girlfriend Rachael Dawson, has been shocked by his variety of customers – who he admits he thought would be mostly young adults.
He said: "I was expecting to attract mainly 18 to 25-year-olds.
"But I have actually been getting requests from people of all age groups.
"I sometimes receive orders from the parents of disabled children who really like chocolate and sweets.
"It means they don't have to leave their homes to get their kids a bar of chocolate."
