An inquest into the death of Beverley teenager Jess Blake is being held in Hull today.
Jess, 14, was found dead in woods on the outskirts of the market town in August the day after she was last seen leaving her home in Swinemoor Estate.
Witnesses will give evidence about the circumstances leading up to Jess's death at the Coroner's Court in Hull this morning.
Ahead of the inquest, East Riding Safeguarding Children Board confirmed it was also investigating Jess's death.
Chairwoman Bron Sanders said: "East Riding Safeguarding Children Board will be undertaking a serious case review into the sad death of Jessica Blake.
"The findings of the review will be published in due course."
