An opportunist thief has stolen a bag filled with money from a delivery lorry outside the Nisa store on the corner of Chanterlands Avenue and Westbourne Avenue.
The thief targeted the lorry when its driver was delivering packages to the store on Friday between 4.20pm and 4.40pm.
The driver and passenger of the red lorry had unloaded goods from the lorry and left the vehicle unlocked as they went into the shop.
A black holdall bag was taken from the lorry by a man, who is described as white, balding and wearing a green jacket and green trousers.
Police are now seeking witnesses and information to the theft and are asking anyone who can help to call Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101 referring to log 516 of March 8, 2013, or ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
