FANS of Luke Campbell will be glued to their TV screens as he skates in the Dancing On Ice final.
The Olympic gold medallist is calling on the people of Hull to vote on the night after working non-stop for weeks.
Luke has revealed he will be performing his favourite routine of the series to Little Things by One Direction, as well as a showcase with three professional skaters.
He said: "I haven't been back to Hull for three weeks and it has been difficult. I've been working so hard.
"I'm on the ice six hours a day and trying to keep up with my boxing and general fitness in my spare time.
"I'm doing my best and, whether I win or lose, I'm so proud of Hull for backing me all the way."
"Mr Nasty" judge Jason Gardiner has blasted Luke for having an attitude problem and fired a number of harsh comments in his direction.
Luke said: "Yorkshire people are very respectful and nice. But when it comes to taking advantage of that, we will not take it.
"I've not spoken much to Jason off camera, I've only said 'Hi'.
"I want to crack on. I've got a job to do and I don't give a monkey's what he says."
Bantamweight Luke said he is used to the pressure, having won gold at London 2012, and although this is a "bit of fun", he reckons he can beat finalists Matt Lapinskas and Beth Tweddle.
He made it to the final after the skate-off was cancelled last week and rugby player Gareth Thomas left the competition.
"Gareth was disappointed and I wanted us to be in the final together but he will be voting for me and telling others to do the same," Luke said.
"I think people can see I work hard every week to put a smile on people's faces and although it's been hard to adjust, it's been worth it.
"I'm proud of where I come from and I'm getting noticed in London and all over now and I've always got time for people."
This weekend, the scores from the judging panel are not counted when deciding who wins the show.
The decision is purely made from the public phone vote.
After the showcase and favourite routines, the final two will perform Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean's signature dance, Bolero.
If Luke makes it all the way and is crowned ice king, it will be a special Mother's Day present for his mum Jill.
He said: "Family is very important to me and I will be spending a lot of time with them after the show.
"I want to prove the bookies wrong once again and will be giving Hull a big shout-out."
