TWO men will appear in court this morning charged in connection with a crash on the A63 on Wednesday.
A 35-year-old man is accused of dangerous driving, affray, possessing an offensive weapon, driving while unfit through drugs and without insurance.
A 29-year-old man has been charged with affray.
The accident left Castle Street closed for more than four hours after a Ford Mondeo lost control, span round and crashed into a lampost.
A 34-year-old man who was in the back of the Mondeo remains in Hull Royal Infirmary with chest injuries.
It happened just before 5am. The road reopened at 9.45am.
The men will appear before Hull Magistrates Court this morning.
