FORMER Hull FC and Rovers favourite Shaun Briscoe will launch his testimonial in Hull next month.
The Widnes full-back is only one of six players to have played more than 100 games for both the Black and Whites and the Robins.
The RFL have approved a three-month testimonial for Briscoe for his 10 years of service to the game, which has also included Super League appearances for his hometown Wigan.
Briscoe will launch his testimonial by staging a first-ever celebration of players who have served both Hull and Rovers.
Special guests will be fellow double centurion Len Casey, who also coached Hull FC, and Anthony Sullivan, representing his late father Clive Sullivan MBE, who is the record holder with 565 games for both clubs in Hull.
"I thoroughly enjoyed myself on and off the field with FC and then KR," said Briscoe.
"Being one of the elite six players to have clocked up a century for both clubs, I'm looking forward to celebrating the 120 players who have worn both jerseys."
Briscoe joined the Black and Whites from Wigan in 2004, spending four seasons at the KC Stadium.
In 2008 he made the switch across the River to Hull KR, playing for four years at Craven Park before spending last season with current club Widnes.
More than 20 players and coaches who have served FC and KR have been invited to the testimonial dinner at Willerby Manor Hotel on March 25.
Tickets are £35 each and bookings can be made for any size of party seated on tables of 10. To book or for further information ring 07814 937642 or email david@howesetc.co.uk
