Hessle's own comedy tap duo Hash Tap have made it through to the live shows on Sky1's Got To Dance.
Hannah Goodhall and Natalie Coolledge, both 23, are in the final 30 out of the thousands who auditioned for the show.
They will now face the public vote for a chance to win the £250,000 prize money.
In the auditions, the girls wowed the judges, Pussycat Doll Kimberley Wyatt, street dancer Ashley Banjo and Aston Merrygold, of the boyband JLS, with their hilarious horse-riding routine to Rossini's William Tell Overture but will now have to compete against acts from all genres of dance.
The girls, who used to be dance compeition rivals when they were younger, only came together as an act a week before they auditioned.
Aston Merrygold told Hannah and Natalie at their audition: "Girls that was a really, really solid audition and let me say I really appreciate the hand taps as well.
"I think you guys and going be able to translate tap to everyone around you and watching the show, which is really good to see."
