HE'S a man in demand and has become a sporting pin-up with celebrity friends and glitzy invites.
It's a world away from his life in Hull but Luke Campbell is taking it all in his stride and plans to "sex it up" on Dancing On Ice in a bid to entertain TV viewers.
Although he says he's the "same old Luke", the boxer's fan base is growing and he's even caught the attention of the gay community after posing naked on the front cover of a national magazine.
He admits the photos in this month's issue of Gay Times are "pretty revealing" and they shocked his fiancée Lynsey Kraanen, mother of his two children Lincoln and Leo.
"The photographs show a lot more than I was expecting," he said. "But I enjoyed doing the shoot.
"A couple of my mates are gay and I have a right laugh with them. They're really nice people – it doesn't matter about their sexuality.
"Being featured in the magazine gave me an opportunity to have my say. I've had quite a few text messages from friends saying 'I've just seen you with your kit off', but it was fun."
Luke, 25, now has a legion of admirers and has even caught the eye of 1980s icon Boy George, who has been tweeting his support and called the boxer "cute."
"I don't want to sound stupid, but I'm not sure who he is," Luke said. "But I'll find him on Twitter.
"I haven't changed at all since being on the show and I don't really see myself as a sex symbol."
Along with photo shoots and press interviews, the Olympic gold medalist joined his Dancing On Ice co-stars for the National Television Awards in London, but a night on the tiles was the last thing on his mind.
"It was a really good event and I saw a lot of celebrities," he said. "I wanted to meet Keith Lemon, I think he's awesome, but I didn't catch him on time.
"I went along to the after-party but then went straight back to Hull and got home at about 4am.
"I had training on the ice the next morning."
As the pressure mounts for tomorrow night's show, Luke is hoping he doesn't fall on his face and does his home city proud once again.
"I thought last week I skated really well and I thought there might have been at least one judge on my side," he said.
"It was a difficult night but I was overwhelmed by the support and I hope I'm giving Hull a good name and reputation.
"The amount of people from my city who are voting for me is just priceless. I can't thank people enough for their support."
Although judge Jason Gardiner keeps giving him a hard time, Luke says the backing from Hull pushes him forward.
"Mr Nasty" has fired out a number of harsh comments about the boxer's skating and even called his routine "olympically bad" last week.
"If he lays into me again, I'll do the same back," Luke said. "I've got my city of Hull behind me, so he can shove it.
"Training has been tough this week and there is an awkward lift and difficult footwork.
"I smashed my elbow on the ice during rehearsals, but I'm hoping I will get it right on the night.
"I've also been allowed to take my punch bag to the studios so I can train in-between skating.
"Joe Pasquale even wants to do a bit of boxing with me. There's quite a few contestants who are interested."
And the squeaky-voiced comedian isn't Luke's only new celebrity friend, he's become friends with BBC Radio 1 presenter Scott Mills, whom he introduced to fiancée Lynsey.
"I met him while I was doing the lottery and we got on straightaway. He's been to watch me skate," Luke said. "But I don't care about knowing big names. I find being thrown into the public eye quite crazy at times.
"I become friends with people I get on with. I tried to talk to Pamela Anderson once, when she was on the show, but she just blanked me.
"I used to watch Baywatch but I thought 'well, I'm not going back up to her' and I wasn't interested after that."
And Luke couldn't care less about the Hollywood bombshell, who was voted out in round one, as he only has eyes for one woman, his childhood sweetheart Lynsey.
As the other contestants break down in tears over tabloid stories and their relationships with the professional skaters, Luke has nothing to worry about.
Lynsey has supported him throughout his career and has been cheering him on during his routines for the ITV show.
"Lynsey is very understanding and there's a lot of trust in our relationship," Luke said. "I let her do what she wants and she does the same.
"We joke about making the routines sexier. Maybe next time I should skate in with my hands on Jenna's bum.
"It's an entertaining programme and as long as it gets people laughing, I don't care if it's at my expense, I'll put on a show."
