WHILE much of the UK has seen a deluge - or at least the odd flurry - of snow, the white stuff has stayed away from Croydon so far.
But when you wake up on Friday morning, the scene should resemble more of the winter wonderland you'd have in mind for this time of year.
Forecasters suggest it will start snowing in the borough at around 3am, continuing until 6am. Only light flurries are expected though, so don't get the sleds out just yet.
The snow is expected to stay away during the day tomorrow and also over the weekend, though expect a cold one - with temperatures around 3 or 4 degrees.
