An update of people convicted and sentenced in the courts in Hull and the East Riding.Stefan Walker, 24, of Haydock Garth, Bransholme, was conditionally discharged for six months for being drunk and disorderly in Lowgate, Old Town, and for being in possession of M-Cat. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.Julie Black, 43, of 5th Avenue, north Hull, was given six points on her licence for driving without due care and attention. She was fined £150 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.David Douglas, 42, of Buckingham Street, east Hull, was jailed for 24 weeks for stealing a Lynx gift set from Boyes, a gift set from Poundland, chocolate from Poundland, choco- late, from Heron and two bottles of vodka from Iceland and for failing to give a drugs sample, while serving a suspended prison sentence.Karl Thompson, 43, of Coltman Street, west Hull, was sent to prison for eight weeks for dishonestly receiving stolen hair curlers and Meccano sets, worth £37.96, while serving a suspended prison sentence. He was ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge.Nicola Bogg, 28, of no fixed abode, was sent to prison for 16 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing nine roast beef joints and one beef brisket from Aldi, steaks, from Co-op and Bold washing liquid, worth £17, from One Stop. She was ordered to pay £17 compensation and £80 costs.Stephen Hames, 40, of Roborough Close, Bransholme, was conditionally discharged for 12 months for stealing a computer disc drive, a Polaroid docking station, silver speakers and a blue bag from an unknown person, being in possession of amphetamines and for being found with items which were to be used in a theft. He was ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.
