"Sound the Octo-Alert!" is probably gibberish to anyone over ten.
But for fans of the CBeebies TV show it is a call to action.
The popular children's series – imagine an aquatic Thunderbirds – is taking to the stage for the first time.
Voiced on screen by actors including Simon Greenfall – best-known as Alan Partridge's clueless Geordie sidekick – the live action version arrives at Hull New Theatre this month.
It sees characters including Captain Barnacles, Kwazii and Peso attempting a rescue from an underwater volcano.
Mixing puppetry and interactive songs, this is the latest production from Richard Lewis who adapted and directed Peppa Pig for the stage.
