ONE of Hull's busiest roads is partially closed after a traffic light blackout.
The traffic lights at the junctions between Ferensway, Freetown Way, Spring Bank and Beverley Road are not working.
It appears one of the lights has been knocked off and is on the ground.
The police are at the scene helping to navigate the traffic as drivers do not know whether it is safe to turn or cross the busy road.
One driver, who did not want to be named, said: "None of the traffic lights are working at all.
"You can see one of the lights has been knocked off and it is lying on the floor.
"The police are there trying to sort the situation out.
"None of the drivers know what they are doing."
