HDM Sport on Facebook HULL City had been linked with several high profile signings ahead of the January transfer window, however moves for any player have yet to come to fruition, allowing other Premier League side to swoop in for targets. The Daily Mirror led an exclusive in December claiming that Aaron Lennon had emerged as a top target for Steve Bruce this winter. However the same paper reports today that the Tottenham winger is subject to a possible swap deal with West Brom, with Tony Pulis looking to land him and team-mate Andros Townsend by offering the sought after England under-21 international Saido Berahino in exchange. Meanwhile the Daily Express reports that Real Sociedad, currently managed by former Manchester United boss David Moyes, are looking to lure Adnan Januzaj to Spain. For some, it's an opportunity to rejuvenate a tired squad with a few fresh faces, for others it's a time to sweat as bigger clubs hover over their prized assets. Going by figures released by the Daily Mail, it appears that City are very much the in the former category, with 31 per cent of all their transfer activity since the summer of 2009 conducted in January– the fourth highest proportion in the Premier League. Newcastle top the charts having done 44 per cent of all their business in the winter, while City's opponents on Saturday, West Brom, prop up the table with just 12 per cent. City cup defeat sees TV audiences rise THE FA Cup final re-run on Sunday between Hull City and Arsenal brought a sizeable increase in TV viewing figures for the competition. Around 6.6m viewers tuned in to see Per Mertesacker and Alexis Sanchez knock Steve Bruce's side out of the competition, according to the Daily Mail, a rise of 20 per cent on last season's figures. While the numbers shows the magic of the cup may still be alive on the screens, it's a different case inside stadiums, with Burnley forced to close the family stand at Turf Moor due to poor ticket demand for the tie against Tottenham.Davies in disbelief with new Tottenham speedster AND finally, Curtis Davies seemed suitably impressed with one of Tottenham's new signings on Twitter yesterday. The City centre-back tweeted his disbelief at the pace displayed by USA international DeAndre Yedlin, who has joined Spurs this month from Seattle Sounders. The Tigers have been warned and Davies and company will hope to have the 21-year-old shackled when they visit White Hart Lane on May 16.
