Detectives have released a CCTV image following an alleged assault on a woman inside a city nightclub.
The incident happened in Pozition nightclub in George Street at about 2.30am on Sunday, December 21.
A 26-year-old woman was on the dance floor when an unknown man bumped into her. Following a verbal altercation, the man allegedly hit the woman in the face with a bottle.
The woman lost a front tooth and suffered a cut lip. The latter required 22 stitches.
Today, officers have released this image of a man they would like to speak with in connection with the alleged assault.
Detective Matt Grantham, from Hull's priority crime team at Humberside Police, said: "This was a nasty assault on a woman who was out on a Christmas night out.
"I am appealing for the man on the CCTV image to call the police to assist us with our enquiries.
"Alternatively, members of the public who recognise the man are urged to call the force."
