Our daily blog with the latest news, transfer rumours and gossip about Hull City in the Premier League.

HDM Sport on Facebook Hull City are set to sign Malmo's Swedish goalkeeper Robin Olsen according to reports from Sweden. The highly-rated 6ft 6in keeper, valued at 7m Euros last season, is a free agent on December 31 and is set to join City on a Bosman. His agent Hasan Cetinkaya confirmed that Olsen, 24, is definitely leaving Malmo, but would not name the Tigers as his destination, according to the Swedish website Fotbollskanalen. Cetinkaya said: "The only thing I can say about it is that there is interest for Robin in both the Premier League and in Europe. Otherwise, I would not comment on which clubs involved". Olsen became Malmo's first choice keeper this season but made regular appearances for the team as an understudy to fellow Swedish keeper Johan Dahlin before he departed for Turkey. City have conceded 24 in 17 Premier League games before today's visit to Sunderland, aggravated by injuries to current goalkeepers Allan McGregor and Steve Harper.Ben Arfa 'heading for continent' Meanwhile Hull City exile Hatem Ben Arfa is now attracting bids from several European sides, according to French sports channel L'Equipe. With no future in Hull after a fairly disastrous loan spell, and as he is being snubbed by his parent club Newcastle United, the Frenchman is almost certain to be moving clubs this January. And L'Equipe says with the player's deal at St James' Park due to expire at the end of the season, he should be available on a cut-price deal in January. French Ligue 1 side Nice were the first club to make a concrete offer, but are not thought to have the funds to back a bid. German Bundesliga outfit Hamburg could fund his £50,000 a week wage with Monaco and an unnamed Spanish side also showing interest.Poyet's surprise Larsson stayed Sunderland manager Gus Poyet has admitted he was surprised Seb Larsson did not join Hull City in the summer. Poyet said he thought the Swede, one of Sunderland's top performers this season, was on the verge of quitting when his contract expired in June, with the Tigers a likely destination. Having played for City manager Steve Bruce at both Birmingham and Sunderland, Larsson could have been lining up in black and amber against his former team today. Poyet told the Daily Star: "Knowing Seb from the past, I think he's finished every contract in his life and then moved on so I feared it was going to be tough to keep him. "So it's great credit to him that he wanted to stay here. He's been incredible."Bastia want striker Sagbo? TIGERS struggling striker Yannick Sagbo is reportedly a target for French side Bastia. City are looking increasingly likely to sell the Frenchman and a return back to his native homeland looks a dead cert, according to the Daily Mail. After featuring just six times this season, Sagbo will look to resurrect his career back at Bastia, should a move be completed. The January transfer window is fast approaching, so we could see a lot of movement out of the KC Stadium over the next couple of weeks.12 years since the first-ever league game at the KC AND finally, did you know it's been a dozen years since Hull City's first ever league game? No, me neither. But a handy Twitter update this Boxing Day morning provided fans with a timely flashback ahead of today's trip to Sunderland. A 2-0 win over Hartlepool was the result that day - how City could do with another similar result today on Wearside!
