Hull court listings: Find out who has been sentenced (December 23, 2014)

An update of people convicted and sentenced in the courts in Hull and the East Riding.

Mariusz Wajda, 35, of Wimbourne Close, Bransholme, was fined £170 for being in possession of cannabis and for failing to surrender to bail. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Alan Armstrong, 28, of Hornby Grove, east Hull, was sent to prison for 112 days, suspended for 12 months, for stealing washing up liquid and coffee, worth £76 from Co-operative Stores.

Amy Cowap, 34, of Hessle Road, west Hull, was given a 12-month community order for stealing £20 from Michael Cook, being in possession of Diazepam and failing to surrender to court, while subject of a 12-month conditional discharge.

Guinars Garabais, 35, of Sidmouth Street, west Hull, was fined £37 for being drunk and disorderly in a public place. He was ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.

Gareth Handley, 29, of Dorchester Road, Bransholme, was sent to prison for 16 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for going equipped to steal. He was ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge.

David Hoe, 40, of Leconfield Close, east Hull, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing vodka, gin, whisky and a BT home phone, worth £121.99, from the Co-operative Food Group. He was ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge.

Samantha Hudson, 36, of Lees Walk, west Hull, was given an absolute discharge for stealing meat and dairy products, worth £44, from Sainsbury's stores.

Paul Johnson, 34, of 17th Avenue, north Hull, was sent to prison for 18 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing Dewalt power tools, worth £3,000, from a garage in Colwall Avenue, Hull. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and an £80 victim surcharge.

David Pearce, 34, of Faircourt, north Hull, was sent to prison for 28 weeks for stealing alcohol and snacks, worth £34, from Sainsbury's Supermarkets, while serving a suspended sentence.

Cindy Adamson, 39, of Jetcourt, north Hull, was given a 12-month community order for stealing clothes, worth £39.98, from New Look. She was also fined £20 and ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge.
