FRIENDS of a young boy who died after suffering an asthma attack have been treated to a special football training session at school in his memory.
Cameron Good, ten, was taking part in football training when he suffered the deadly attack on November 26. He died in hospital four days later.
Football coaches at DJ Sportz, an organisation that teaches youngsters football skills, decided to give his classmates at St Anthony's Catholic Primary School in north Hull a free training lesson in memory of Cameron on Thursday.
Danny Johnson, DJ sportz boss and former Irish League player, 29, said: "It's a tribute to Cameron and we wanted to give back to the school.
"It is a bit of respite for the children.
"The kids really enjoyed the session and it's nice to know his school mates have got some football to enjoy over Christmas."
Mr Johnson, originally from north Hull, set up DJ Sportz in Ireland almost five years ago. He is now head coach of Hull City Ladies.
Liz Harros, headteacher of St Anthony's, in Danepark, said: "We were given the offer by the coaches to raise children's spirits and give children the chance to play football.
"They have had a tough time and it's another way to remember Cameron.
"The children get the chance to enjoy playing football, which was something Cameron loved.
"Cameron was a very important member of our community and the children were shocked and needed support to come to terms with the news, but they remember him in a positive way.
"He was a fantastic little boy and that is how he will be remembered."
Coach Laura Dennison, of Sutton Park, said: "It is nice to give some respite for the children after the bad news."
The coaches brought their Timmy the Tiger mascot to the training session, who handed out Christmas cards to children.
Ms Dennison said: "Cameron's class came in first and they loved it.
"We had some little Ronaldos and Beckhams running around doing keepy uppys."
DJ Sportz caters for boys and girls from aged two to 16, provides girls-only sessions and has a special class, Tiger Tots, for toddlers.
Ms Dennison said: "DJ Sportz is about getting children to exercise but also having fun with it."
