Engineers are investigating the cause of a power cut affecting over 1,500 homes in Hull and Hessle.
Hundreds of householders living in the HU13, HU6, HU3 and HU1 areas of the city lost electricity for several hours this morning.
Northern Powergrid say the majority of homes had their power restored at 9.04am but there are still 30 homes without electricity.
A spokesperson for Northern Powergrid said: "We don't yet know what the cause of the fault is and we are still investigating the situation.
"The majority of homes have had their power restored and engineers are still working on the remaining homes."
