A couple were robbed by two masked men as they returned to their east Hull home.
A woman, 44, and her husband were attacked as they arrived at their home in Garrick Close just after 11pm last night (Monday).
The woman was approached from behind by two men wearing balaclavas, who pushed her husband out of the way before grabbing her handbag.
She was struck in the face during a tussle which left her with "minor facial injuries". Her husband sustained a minor hand injury.
One of the robbers then ran away and the other fled on a bicycle.
The stolen bag is described as made of red leather and contained bank cards, cash, a driving licence, a black Nokia mobile phone and a bunch of keys.
The two men have been described as being dressed in black, including black gloves and black balaclavas.
Police officers have conducted house to house inquiries but are appealing for witnesses.
