A woman was assaulted in the street as she carried her six-week old baby.
The 30-year-old woman suffered wrist injuries in the assault in Carlton Street, Bridlington, at 3pm on Friday. The baby was not injured.
The suspect is described as white, in his thirties and of slim build.
Another man intervened and police are asking him to get in touch.
Anyone else who witnessed the assault is asked to call police on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
