Move over Black Friday, Cyber Monday deals are here to tempt online shoppers

BLACK Friday caused chaos in shops around the UK and packed stores in Hull. The bargains bonanza has been continuing throughout the weekend ahead of tomorrow's Cyber Monday – one of the biggest online shopping days of the year. There won't be the scuffles, seen in some parts of the country on Friday, but retail experts predict more than £600 million could be spent online tomorrow as people hunt down that bargain. The event started in the US and is the first Monday after the country's Thanksgiving celebrations. This year's event is also the first Monday after most people's last pre-Christmas payday. But despite not having to wait in the cold for hours on end, it could still be a stressful experience for shoppers. On Friday, websites of retailers such as Argos and Curry's suffered problems due to the number of customers rushing to buy cut-priced goods. Among the deals to look out for, some of which are taking place throughout the weekend;Amazon The internet giant is planning to release hundreds of limited Lightning Deals, which offers discounts for a specific period, with new offers coming online every 10 minutes. Recent Lightening Deals have included up to 60 per cent off diamond jewellery.ASOS The online fashion store is offering 20 per cent off everything until 8am on Tuesday, December 2. All you have to do is enter the code CYBERWKND20 to claim the discount on Cyber Monday purchases.Boots The national chain is having a weekend of Black Friday deals, running into Cyber Monday, with big savings on electricals, toiletries and fragrances.Debenhams The department store has slashed 30% from its fashion ranges as part of its Big Gift event and will expand the deals across the board on Cyber Monday. Game - The online site is promising a range of Cyber Monday deals but, until then, is offering a Black Friday deals across the weekend - with Playstation 4 and Xbox One packages for £299.99.John Lewis Black Friday might be over in-store but the retailer is offering continued discounts on home appliances on electronics on its website.Marks & Spencer Its "Four Magical Days" event includes 30% off selected items across its online store.PC World and Currys The website's Black Tag deals run across the weekend, including half-price savings on selected TVs and big savings on headphones, smartphones and tablets. Among the deals at Currys includes; include an LG 42LB570 Smart 42" LED TV – was £499, but now £279; Samsung Smart 24in LED monitor with Freeview – was £309.99, but now £149; Apple iPad Air 1 64GB – was £559, but now £319; Samsung Smart 50in 4K Ultra HD TV – was £999, but now £749.
