Food-lovers flocked to Beverley Minster today for the Christmas Festival of Food and Drink.
Hundreds wound their way around the historic landmark, where mouthwatering items for sale included gourmet fish cakes, rare breed chorizo, fresh bread, sloe gin, Wold Top beers and many more.
Volunteers from the Nurse charity, which stands for Needed Urgent Remedial and Surgical Equipment, looked festive in their elf hats as they sold cakes to raise money for local NHS services.
Jane Tattan, chairwoman of the charity, said: "It's been really busy. It's our first time at the Minster for the festival and from what we can see people are doing quite well.
"People have got in the spirit of things and everyone is having a nice time."
Tomorrow (Sunday), Beverley is expected to be packed out again for the annual Christmas lights switch-on event.
