A Bridlington woman is starring alongside the likes of Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden in the first Post Office advert for five years.
Gemma Dealtry will be seen by millions on television screens after being chosen to take part in the company's Christmas 2014 TV advertising campaign, which was launched last week.
Workers from 11,500 branches were asked to describe why they deserved to represent the Post Office on screen.
Gemma, who works at the Bridlington branch, was one of only ten staff chosen to star in the new adverts, which feature star of Channel 4's Peep Show, Robert Webb, as the larger-than-life "Minister of Christmas".
Gemma argued that she deserved a place in the advert because she is a "natural" in front of the camera and truly loves her job.
She said: "I was absolutely thrilled to win the competition to star in the Post Office advert alongside some of my favourite TV personalities.
"It's not every day you're asked to leave behind the day job to brush shoulders with Amanda Holden."
Viewers see Mr Webb helping with a wide range of Christmas tasks, before catching sight of pop star Pixie Lott, celebrity chef Gino D'Acampo, Downton Abbey butler Jim Carter and Amanda Holden.
The celebrities are shown in one of the Post Office's 3,500 modernised branches highlighting longer opening hours, a small parcels offer, last posting dates and next-day delivery.
Gemma says she can't wait to watch the advert.
She said: "It was a great day and I can't wait for my friends, family and customers to see the ads on television."
Pete Markey, Post Office chief marketing officer, was full of praise for Gemma's performance.
He said: "It has been great having Gemma star in our advert.
"She was fantastic and brimming with confidence – not at all phased by working with our celebrities.
"With well over 17 million customers, Christmas is our busiest time of the year.
"We wanted to use real colleagues from across the UK. Who better to showcase the brilliant work they do?"
