Hull FC look set to give debuts to the majority of their new signings in the pre-season friendly at York.

The game on Sunday January 11, 2015 will be played at the exact same time as a second Hull side run out against Doncaster.

The unusual situation will see head coach Lee Radford split his first-team squad and his under-19s team, bringing them together to make sure the Black and Whites have enough numbers to field two sides.

While many expected the side which took on Paul Cooke's Doncaster team would be the stronger of the two, Radford says although he's yet to consider any line-ups, it is likely to be the one which faces York that contains more senior players, including some of his new arrivals.

"It's obviously still some way off and we've not started pre-season yet, but my initial thinking is the team that plays Doncaster will have the most under-19s," Radford told the Mail.

"There will still be first-team players at Doncaster, but a lot of the senior guys will be getting a run out at York."

Hull begin their pre-season training on Saturday, with the squad returning to start preparations for that first game in January.

Following the double header in north and south Yorkshire, Hull face Hull KR at the KC Stadium a week later on Sunday, January 18 (kick-off 2pm), before concluding pre-season with Gareth Ellis' testimonial game at Wakefield on Sunday, January 25 (kick-off 2pm).

Hull will then have two weeks preparation for their first Super League game at Huddersfield Giants on Sunday, February 8.
