Ramirez is slowly reaching full fitness after making several substitute appearances during his short time at the KC Stadium. Unfortunately, he is ineligible to play against Saturday's opponents Southampton, due to the terms in his season-long loan deal in East Yorkshire. However, the Uruguayan is confident his side can start holding onto leads and push their way up the table. "I think the team has had a good start to the season and we are tenth in the table, but it's not enough for us," Ramirez told the club's official website. "We could have been higher. I think we have lost six points in the last five minutes of games so it shows that we have to be switched on for the full 90 minutes. "If we're not, we will be punished. It is never over until the final whistle. "However, we know we have a good team that is capable of winning anywhere we go." Ince seals loan move - but not without stalling first...TOM Incealmost kept Nottingham Forest waiting too long before signing on loan at the City Ground this morning. Prior to confirmation of the loan deal, until 28 December, Ince was apparently frustrating Forest with his reluctance to sign on, according to the Nottingham Post. Forest were going to turn their attentions elsewhere should Ince have stall further, with Leicester's out-of-favour midfielder Anthony Knockaert, as well as Manchester City prodigy Jose Angel Pozo, on the radar. However, boss Stuart Pearce indicated the loan was close earlier today and in the last few minutes, the loan was confirmed. Meanwhile, Tigers team-mate Steve Harper has told talkSPORT Ince's loan will do the winger the 'world of good'. "Tom Ince hasn't struggled to settle at all," Harper told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show. "Tom has been around for a little while but he is still so young. "He's made the move to Hull and he's settled in. He's quick and works hard but we have some quality players who don't make the 18 on a Saturday. "If you're not doing that then the best option is to go out on loan. It will do him the world of good at Nottingham Forest."Tigers quintet involved in Ireland squad IT'S congratulations to Hull City's Irish contingent after five of the squad were called up to the Republic of Ireland provisional team ahead of next month's international clashes.Paul McShane, Robbie Brady, Stephen Quinn, David Meyler and Brian Lenihan will link up with the side prior to the Euro 2016 qualifier against Scotland and the home friendly against the USA.Rosenior becomes involved with under-21s coachingLIAM Rosenior has digged his claws into taking the Hull City under-21s training as he looks to maintain a high involvement at the Tigers. The 29-year-old has been seen regularly at the academy clashes so far this season, including the away victory at Sheffield Wednesday a fortnight ago. Rosenior revealed he's been wanting to get his teeth into coaching for a long time, with his dad Leroy being an inspiration during his time as a West Ham player. Watch the video below.
Long scores crucial goal for Southampton – will he terrorise the Tigers? AND finally, brace yourselves for a Shane Long super-show on Saturday afternoon as the former Tiger scored a crucial goal in his side's 3-2 Capital One Cup victory at Stoke. Southampton are one of the surprise packages in the early stages of the Premier League system, and I wouldn't be shocked if Long was to pop up and play a blinder at the KC Stadium this weekend. We shall wait and see.
